Aims of= the subject: Students should be able to understand fundamental conce= pts
of financial market, institutions and financial management.

Subject= matter:

1. = General characterization of financial market, its segments. Qualitative changes of = the world financial market since the eighties. Topical questions of the develop= ment of financial (capital) market in Czech Republic. Basic instruments of monet= ary and capital market, their appropriatenesses.

2. Stock exchange with securities as an institution of capital market, internal systems of stock exchange managemen= t, bodies of stock exchange and its operational constituents. Criteria of classifications of stock exchanges and assessment of their efficiency.

3. Systems of management of stock exchange = houses and stock exchange transactions, their types and stock exchange operation technology, commercial system of a stock exchange and its subsystems. Strat= egy of financial investment, management of portfolio and investment risks. Stock exchange and out of stock exchange transactions, stock exchange strategy and tactics, stock exchange speculations. Stock exchanges of type financial fut= ures and options, their transactions.

4. Prague Stock Exchange for trading with securities, commercial system of this stock exchange, rules for performing business transactions in the stock exchange and out of stock exchange marke= t, rules of processing and trading with securities, set of methods of trading = with securities, account clearing and settlments of business transactions. Commercial and information system of this stock exchange, other institutions for trading with some securities (SCP and RM - S).
