Subject: Practical English 3 (CAJ3)

Aims of the subject: to improve students' language skills – speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar.

Prerequisites: Students should be interested in English.

Acquired knowledge: Students will improve all their skills and widen their vocabulary.

Attendance: Students cannot miss more than two sessions. If they do, they are required to do some additional work, which will be specified by the teacher.

Requirements: Students actively participate at lessons and do homework.

Exam: None

Final evaluation: Students sit for three tests – listening, reading, vocabulary + grammar. In all of them they have to score at least 50 % of the total number of points.

Introduction to the course; grammar – revision (avoiding repetition, synonyms, reduced infinitives)
