Subject: Practical English 4 (CAJ4)

Aims of the subject: to improve students' language skills – speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar.

Prerequisites: Students should be interested in English.

Acquired knowledge: Students will improve all their skills and widen their vocabulary.

Attendance: Students cannot miss more than two sessions. If they do, they are required to do some additional work, which will be specified by the teacher.

Requirements: Students actively participate at lessons and do homework.

Exam: a written test – listening, reading, grammar + vocabulary (100-90 points – A; 89 – 70 – B; 69-50 – C) and an oral exam – on a travel book in English the student has read (Erasmus students who did not attend the lessons have to read 2 travel books), bring an essay on the book with 20 unknown words or phrases of the student's choice from it

Final evaluation: Written test makes the mark, which will be finalised after the oral exam.
