Goal:
The goal of
the subject is to introduce doctoral students into most recent trends,
practical experience, as well as theoretical knowledge from the area of
research, development, application, as well as maintenance of information and
knowledge-based systems at the level enabling them to achieve original
scientific results in the scope of their doctoral dissertations.

- Multimedia systems.
- The Life Cycle of information systems, their development.
- Foundations of artificial intelligence.
- Architecture of knowledge-based systems; centralized and
decentralized solutions.
- Introduction to knowledge engineering.
- The Life Cycle of a knowledge project. Development of
knowledge-based systems.
- Agent-based architecture, multi-agent systems.
- Perspectives of information and knowledge-based systems, their
mutual convergence.
- Data and solution protection.
- Legal and ethical aspects.
